Technical Website Access
When the website is accessed, technically necessary access data may be processed, in particular the IP address, time of access, requested resource, amount of data transferred, referrer, and browser and operating-system information. The purposes are secure delivery, error analysis, prevention of misuse and maintenance of operations. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of the website.
Technical logs are retained only for as long as required for operations, security and the investigation of specific incidents. Longer retention occurs only where a security event or legal obligation requires it.
Cookies, Tracking and External Content
The public website uses no marketing or analytics cookies, tracking pixels, advertising profiles or behavioural analytics. It loads no external fonts, analytics libraries or social-media plugins. Public PDF previews and preview images, where available, are served by this website. Where no information is stored on or read from a user's device, no consent request is required under section 25 of the German Telecommunications-Digital-Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG).
Written Requests
Requests are sent through the requesting person's email client. Voluntarily provided contact, organisational and content information, together with the related correspondence, is processed. The purposes are request review, pre-contractual clarification, communication, protection and rights review, and, where applicable, preparation or performance of a written agreement.
Depending on the content, the legal bases are Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual measures or contract performance, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for traceable request, security and legal-defence processes, and Article 6(1)(c) GDPR for statutory retention obligations.
Please do not send special categories of personal data, trade secrets, complete case files, credentials or other highly sensitive material by unencrypted email without prior protection arrangements.
Recipients and Service Providers
Data is disclosed only to parties that require it for the relevant purpose. These may include technical hosting and email providers acting as processors, and advisers subject to professional or statutory confidentiality obligations. Personal data is neither shared for advertising purposes nor sold. Disclosure to public authorities occurs only where legally required or based on a valid legal basis.
Retention Period
Request and communication data is deleted once the request, any potential collaboration and legitimate documentation purposes have concluded, unless statutory retention periods, legal claims or security reasons require continued retention. Contractual, invoicing and tax-relevant records are retained for the applicable statutory periods.
No Automated Decision-Making
The public website makes no automated decisions, conducts no profiling and provides no customer, upload or self-service environment. The local owner interface used to maintain the static website is not publicly accessible and processes no visitor accounts.
Data-Subject Rights
Within the scope provided by law, data subjects have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Where processing is based on consent, that consent may be withdrawn with effect for the future. Requests may be sent to brueckner@bw-ruah.de.
Data subjects also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority. For non-public bodies in Bavaria, the competent authority is generally the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach: BayLDA complaints page.
